Friends - Seems that when I go forward and to other cameras to adjust the lighting in a scene, it animates the sliders, & they will not remain where I put them. Where do I toggle to keep them in 1 place? I'm certain there's a simple solution. Any thoughts from the iClone 7 troopers out there? Thanks, ~Val~

Anything that CAN be animated WILL be animated when you adjust it along the timeline.  However, you can select any object and right-click to "Remove Object Animation" and it will then stay where it is, including lights.

If you do want the lighting to change (but not gradually over time), find the keframe on the timeline, right-click on it, and change the transition curve to "Step."
That will make a sudden change, similar to switching from one camera to another.

(I use that technique to change camera angles, rather than using multiple cameras, in most cases now.  I find it less prone to user error and mistakes like modifying the wrong camera.)

This post is very helpful!
You may have tweaked something while not at frame "0".  If you were at another frame and you change lighting somehow, iClone will interpret that as a command to bring the slider to that point at that time/frame, from where it was at an earlier point/frame.  So, the previous helpful comments show how to use, or undue that (if done accidentally).

Hi Kellytoons - Thanks - I realized it was creating keyframes, I just couldn't figure out how to keep it FROM creating keyframes to start with. Thanks again, you folks are the best!  ~V~

Justaviking - Excellent - thanks for this info. I have been using iClone since version 5 over the past 15 months, & suddenly it became an issue. Thanks again for your guidance here.  ~V~
