Ah -- I'm an idiot (well, I knew that but I sure hate to prove it).

The solution is on the far right, in the Modify/Node box (yeah, REAL intuitive).

I MUST be missing something obvious, but I can't find any way to mass uncheck items (so they don't display any more).

This is an absolute must have feature, so I'm sure it's there somewhere but I can't find it (and the manual is no help).  If I have a few hundred items to uncheck it's just impossible and ridiculous to do each one at a time (but I find this to be the case on a lot of models I import, particularly from SKP files, where I have no way of importing them otherwise -- with an OBJ file I'd just open them up elsewhere and use reasonable tools for this job).

Someone save my fingers!
