Thank you Peter! Your help clarified things for me. I was thinking of "v1.2" as being a more recent version of the plugin, but in fact it looks like the v1.0 plugin is actually more recent, and more importantly: the correct version for the XBox One Kinect. All is working, and I now only have the plugin installed that is intended for my hardware.

Sorry, Mike different time zones. I hope Peter has you on the correct path, I will put what I did for anyone in the future. I am using V1.2 and was getting the same error. This was not the case a few months back and after looking at the version updates here at RL I decided something probably upset the apple cart on one of these famous Windows 10 updates I get. I removed existing Mocap, redownloaded the Mocap plug for a fresh install which did nothing to fix it but rules out a corrupted file etc. Next move was to unplug the Kinect USB and restart computer > Plug USB back in > Open Mocap app ................. and there it was. Then on into iClone to see it function correctly.

Yes thanks, but any ideas why v1.2 doesn't see it? I guess I'll have to see if there's a pathway for direct product support. I thought Reallusion monitored these forums, but I may be mistaken.

Higher the number the better. It only had 1-2 updates from memory, with the Windows sdk even that dates back. I got mine going.

Checked my chipset/USB drivers and they're all up to date. I do run as admin. I did discover that a new Nvidia driver was released just 7 days ago and installed that. After updating the GPU I still have the same problem with the 1.2 version of the plugin, but I also have 1.0 installed (not intentional, actually not sure when I installed it) and while before it too didn't see the Kinect, it now DOES find it. But I'm presuming v1.2 is best, yes?

I'm using the Windows Kinect version (Same thing different sensors I think)) Works on system, other devices and iPi Recorder but no longer works in iClone 5 or 6. Not sure when that happened.

Check your device manager usb 3.0 ports....update driver and all  other drivers too.
run everything as admin and run programs on your GPU.
AND update you GPU driver 1st.

Let us know if it works or not......
