This is actually about CTA3 but there doesn't seem to be a CTA 3 forum yet (?) I have been searching for a tutorial on how to do green screen with CTA 3 but so far no luck. Does anyone know of one? many thanks

What exactly do you mean by "doing green screen"? If you want to use your CTA footage in a green screen environment via a video editor or compositor, it's quite easy. But if you're looking for the green screen to be actually filled in and rendered via CTA3, you're barking up the wrong tree.
If the former, you can save your CTA sequence out as a transparent PNG image sequence for importing into a video editor for the green screen compositing, or you could just use a green color in your CTA background, render out a video as normal, import into your video editor for chroma keying to the green...

you can just have a green screen in CTA3 as your background, and then in your video editor software you can use the green screen kromakay effect.
