Is it possible to join 2 scenes?

Scenario, I have 2 scenes both using the same actors, background etc.  Now I want ot make them into a single scene.....how do I do it?

You don't.  Render the videos from them, and composite them with a video editor.  Or duplicate everything from the second scene, and re-create it in the first scene.
