Hi 

There are animation software with pen and pencil (some portion of hand as well) animation writing text. Is there any way to accomplish this with CTA 2 or 3.
Also 1 license is valid for how many seats ( guess 2).  Actually i want to use CTA 2 on 1 machine and  CTA 3 on other.

Because I am afraid in upgrading. Does I lost any data( motion, character , prop etc) also any fuctionality as now i am familiar with CTA 2 only.

You would need to create those externally, say in flash or something, then import as an animated prop.  You might be able to do a straight reveal, but it would not animate along the text as if it were being written.

what is the extension of animated prop.
I know only prop. I mean how to create animated prop and insert in CTA 2. What i understood from animated prop is GIF. but CTA wont support GIF. So what i usually do is to convert GIF into AVI (video) and  use ,

I need to know more about animated prop and how u create them ( ANy video or link)

Flash SWF files can be imported as animated props.

The license is valid for only one (1) user on up to two (2) computers (typically desktop and laptop).
You can run both CTA2 and CTA3 on the same computer.


Installing CTA3 installs a whole new directory structure so it does not disturb CTA2 at all.

One compatibility difference between CTA2 and CTA3 is in using motions from iClone:

• CTA2 accepts only iMotions created in iClone 5 and below.
• CTA3 accepts all iMotion files.
