I am trying to produce a YouTube HD 1080p60 (1920 x 1080 60 frames per second) side by side 3d animation. If I use the 1920x1080, the scale down to produce both images results in black bars on the top and bottom. The render works fine, but the video is only 1920 x 560 due to downscaling.
If I use 960x1080, it appears to render fine: the output.avi is 1920x1080, but when viewed through Google Cardboard or Oculus Rift Virtual Desktop the render is way out of wack and the convergence is screwed up-- no amount of adjustment on the Occulus Rift Virtual desktop can overcome it... it is seriously out of sync.
All I want is produce a 1920x1080p 60 frame per second, side by side video. You would think you can render a side by side 960x1080, producing a 1920x1080 video and have it work correctly, but it doesn't-- any ideas?
