Hi Craig,

Using 2048 x 2048 in the Appearance Editor will place a big hit on your video ram and crashes normally occur when it can't cope with the demand. Do you have other apps open at the same time that may be sharing these resources. If so this will limit the available video ram available to CC? Try closing everything else down and see if the same problem occurs.

Do also make sure you are using the latest version of CC which is 1.51. You can get the latest patch from your Member Account if you need it.

Note: Character Creator doesn't support SLI configurations so CC will only have 4GB of video ram available to it.

When I go into the Appearance Editor if I change the resolution from the default output 1024 x 1024 to 2048 x 2048 the program crashes.
I have tried several different textures and it always happens.
I un-installed and re installed the program and still have the same problem.
Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it.
I have the latest display drivers. I also have two nvidia 980's with 4 G's each and 16 G's of ram.
Thanks,
Craig
