One of the many new wonderful features included in the latest upgrade in CrazyTalk 5 is enabling the user to create their own custom teeth on the character to add an authentic touch, and offers more realism if needed. The teeth templates included can accommodate most situations, however some people may have a unique, or famous smile that can be better presented naturally using their actual teeth.

Below is an example of such an instance. Instead of "Jack" Clone, I used Jack Nicholson Smile You can refer to the CT5 help files for more information.

CLICK HERE to view a quick demo I exported showing the end result using the new flv export option in CT5 which includes a standby motion option upon exporting.

Hi,

I have just got my Crazy Talk 5 and following the tutorials I cannot find where to export the teeth or eyes anywhere. Apparently there I should be able to do it in PNG format.

Is this capability within Crazy Talk or do I have to use a different program or photo editor.

I was trying to follow and do the step by step instructions in the tutorial "Creating Natural Eyes and Teeth". Link: http://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/ct_training.asp

I did find the templates folder for both eyes and teeth but they are empty.

Any idea what I am doing wrong or what I am missing?

As A newbie I am sure I am missing a simple point.

Thanks in advance for the help

M

Hi nfo,

You do not export the teeth from Crazytalk rather you Import a teeth image sourced from a photo that you may already have or elsewhere on the net etc.

You then bring in the image via the Import button which is found from Model - Advanced Facial Settings - Teeth Tab and then click the Import button. The image you import needs to be 256 pixels by 166 pixels and this can be easily sized in your image editor prior to the import process.

Take a look at the Tutorial Video that covers this function for more details.

Please try the following:

1) Take your character into Character Composer, then select Face Fitting.

2) Select Mouth Settings from the left toolbar and switch to the Modify tab.

3) Finally click the Open/Import button to choose your custom teeth image (see below).

More information on the sizes required can be found HERE.

thanks for illustration and for dental crowns, it is required to map teeth very well for the out coming product that suits your teeth very well.
