Hello,
Does anyone know how to override the arm swing motion of a walk cycle animation so that the arms can be posed and kept in that pose during the walk cycle instead of swinging back and forth?
I am trying to show my character walking while carrying something in it's hands, but the arms are swinging back and forth because the action is a part of the walk cycle that I am using!

If you are using Motion Puppet, just switch to the Mask tab as shown below and turn off the arms and hands.

There is Puppet Editor which works some what. But it only has a few choices and it changes the position of my character, which messes up the animation.

ramuse1970 (7/29/2016) I am using CTA2. I have no idea what Motion Puppet isApologies for not checking which forum you were posting in. :Whistling:However the Puppet Editor is the same thing in CTA2 so you should be able to mask out the arms in exactly the same way. Please refer to the page HERE for more information on using the Mask tab. You may need to re-record your animation if you have already recorded with the arms unmasked.

Thanks for the interest, but I found out that it's much easier than all of that. In the timeline you simply right click on the inserted animation under 2D or 3D motion and it gives you the option to remove animation from different parts of the animation. :)
