I have a prop that I created from a png file. It is a layout of a bus, as viewed from the top (there is no roof on the bus, so that the interior is visible as a cut-away view). I would like to use a G2 character (dummy_m derivative) to "walk" down the aisle of the bus (also as viewed from the top). I can't find a way to do that. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks

You can use the 3D Motion Key Editor to rotate the character so the top of their head is facing you.
Unlock the Feet pinning(right click on each foot), select the Torso, and then use the rotate tool (select red band) to rotate the character into position.

Some of the canned animations reset the position of the character so you would have to move them back into top down position or apply the animation first and then rotate the character.

its more trouble than its worth. The top and bottom views of the sprites are intended for when the character moves in 3d. Nor the camera. For example if the character points his arm straight to the camera, the top views of those sprites are used. If he points away, then the bottom views are shown. Reverse that for the feet. There is no native way to use those angles since CTA doesn't actually have a 3d camera system, just a multi-plane one. But may be able to hack your way through it by creating your animated sequence and export it. The switch to character composer and in there you can switch your character to top or bottom full angle. You can load your animated sequence into that as a calibration file.

You can record it using a screen capture program and composite it using something else like After effects.
