This is a crude test of the toon shader and a few other techniques I wanted to try. The animation is all 12fps. I rendered out the scene in multiple planes (FG BG and some times two FG planes) and did a composite in After Effects. I wanted to see if I could get that planar-anime look.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. And there are a bunch of technical problems, but it is just a test. As you can seen the shader needs some work (hint hint hint), as does my animation skill.
