Hi everyone, I just brought crazy talk animator pro 2 for designing sprites for unity 3d. My question is does G2 support multiple limb characters? I was planning to make a cockroach cartoon character but only see 2 arm limbs support. If I can't find another way to do it what can I do?

Thanks in advance,

PS I did a forum search to find applicable topics but found nothing.

The short answer is no, it does not support multi-limb characters. Only the four (4) limb skeleton is available.
The longer answer is that you can probably do it with additional sprites added to the character (as props) but you will have to animate each extra limb sprite independently as well as manually switch sprites for each angle you want.
There has been some success in doing a four limb animal but that's about it.

Thank you Jeff for the answer. Will try the sprite suggestion.

Instead of constructing hour characters using the G2 architecture. You can just assemble them as props. You can have as many limbs as you want. You just won't have a 3d skeleton. It's will be a 2d ik chain type of thing. Similar to the process used in anime studio.

The good news is that these props can be animated and those motions can be reused later on, on the same character.
