The other day I was asked If I could create a tutorial for adding Motion Puppet motions. I know it comes up here once-in-a-while, so here it is! Thanks to everyone who has helped figure this out along the way.

Awesome indeed, been meaning to ask about that a few times in the past! Well spotted, Rampa! You probably know what I'm going to ask now, but do you reckon it would be possible to add customised sets of sliders to those motions? Say I had a motion where only the head nods, and another motion where only the waist swings, is it possible so save those as seperate sliders that show-up to blend-in with all the other sliders? I'm guessing that would be a bone related thing, but I'm asking just in case tyour eagle-eye has spotted a way!

The sliders are a fixed set. You can mask stuff out though, so if you want just part of a motion, you can do that.
Now that the root is no longer tracking with the character animations, you can use the mask on motions where the character is walking around. Pre 6.4, you had to disable the tracking to do that. Now it's permanently disabled. It's been reported. Hopefully it means they're working hard on the new system.

Hi Rampa, great tutorial but... one suggestion: do NOT show the serial number when you start iClone!!! It pops up in the splash screen and people can easily get it.... Just edit and cut that part of the video Cheers Roberto
