Hello all - quick question for those who may have some knowledge of Motionbuilder.

I have a Kinect 360 and Iclone 5 and the Iclone plug-in on a Windows 7 PC and everything is working fine (well, as good as it can be with limited space and a Kinect). As a result I am assuming that I have Kinect for Windows SDK v1.8 installed.

I am trying to use Motionbuilder 2015 with the Kinect on the same machine but when I do it tells me that I do not have the relevant SDK installed. Does anyone know whether motionbuilder will work with the Kinect 360 and this SDK?

Thank you

Mick

I don't have the same set up but if you look at Microsoft's Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 4 the version number is 7.1, don't now that helps or not.

Thank you for your suggestion Snarp Farkle. I have managed to get it working by downloading and installing Brekel Pro body which brought down the SDK again.

It means my iclone plugin no longer works but as my whole aim was to get it into Motionbuilder so I can clean up the mocap data this is not a problem. Not sure what I will be able to achieve with the Kinect and a small room but I'll give it a go.
