I tried this and it is indeed as you said.

What you could do instead of changing the texture manually is to replace the Lower skin texture of Groucho with that of Indigo. You can do this by loading both Lower textures onto your graphics editor using the Launch option, and then simply paste the green one over the purple one. That looked pretty good to me. But you certainly found a defect of sorts.
