I know short hair for african americans comes out great when you have a side profile picture also but with one photo the head is always bald.
I was messing with the texture diffuse and opacity files in Gimp to try to get the hair correct and got some decent results but admittedly still not that good.
 From my results ,it seems it would be so much easier for Reallusion help us out perhaps.

I too need African styles and would happily buy a content pack with above hairstyle.

Excuse me for being new here to this, but are you saying that in the entire history of iClone there has been no such hairstyles?

I ask because with afro styles like those you don't need it to be "hair" in the sense of hair dynamics (I'm talking the guys here).  So any iC5 or under hair would work.  It shouldn't be hard at all to construct such a (mostly) solid looking piece to fit to a head -- the one thing you might want is a bit of opacity shaping to get a "frizziness" to the edges, but, again, this wouldn't be a specific IC6 issue.

I have content only from the last four or five months, when I started using IC6, so I don't know but it does surprise me that no one at either RL or in the marketplace has supplied such styles until now.  Hmmmm, perhaps there is a market for this?

Hi budbundy, how do I get the hair file into CrazyTalk,CC ,3dXChange or Iclone?

I have no idea about crazytalk,
but you can drag and drop it on a avatar in iclone from windows explorer.
or move it to this location 
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\iClone 6 Custom\Accessories

simply dettaching it from a avatar and saving again will make it a prop again
then you can use the edit in 3dxchange button and perhaps get it into CT
