I wanted to know how to do a transparent walk on character website presenter for my website using Crazytalk characters.

Some websites are charging a lot for this service, but you can do it yourself in about 20-30 mins.

For this particular method you would need a transparent flash player. We can create one easily. You also need to have a transparent character video in FLV format set-up, plenty of YouTube tutorials on how to do that.

It is easy to do using Adobe Dreamweaver if you know how. Let’s face it Adobe own flash. You can download a free trial version of Dreamweaver for about 30 days free use.

Then just watch this tutorial on YouTube:

This is an oldish YouTube tutorial, and Dreamweaver has changed the menu structure. To get to creating the flash player like he teaches with the modern Dreamweaver, you go this route:

Insert -- HTML -- Flash Video.

I would also suggest watching some YouTube tutorials about the basics of Dreamweaver

Edit: When he shows you the Div bit do double quotes " not single '..smiles

best wishes for Christmas from Scotland

Jim

I hope it helps, some sites like Sitepal are charging a lot for this, I think this would give Crazytalk massive added value as walk on presenters are now very popular..

I am doing a YouTube tutorial, hopefully finished before New Year celebrations..Smile
