I use BB FlashBack Expresss Recorder (free!).
Works fine but it does not record/show the mouse-keyboard keys

I just recently (in the Last Year)  started using Corel Screencap X7, and it doesn't have a lot of Bells and Whistles, but it gets the job done for demo tutorials.  Not heavy on use of resources either.
