I tried exporting two non-human figures from DAZ, using the instructions.  I map using the DAZ Genesis mapping, but for both, the body seems to fall apart (the other has a "rubber" mid section that stays in place and stretches weirdly).   Example below:

I am sure I am missing something, but not sure exactly what.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Dwacon
This sort of problem is usually caused by the mapping of the spine bones.
When you convert the character in 3dxchange have a look at the spine mapping and ensure that the bottom bone is the one that is mapped as by default it is often one of the higher ones. may be worth a try.

I took your advice and tried multiple iterations, but no success.  Here are the settings that I used...

Could be something screwy on my end.  I wonder if I am missing some software install perhaps?  Frustrating...

Below is the video from this second attempt (actually, the third try... with multiple bone mapping retries...

Have you got a screen of your DAZ Scene showing 1st, the Scene and then the 2nd, the export settings?  A Simple screen print would work.

Two questions come to mind.
Is the part that fails to stay linked, a separate a prop (attachment) inside DAZ?
If it is not a prop (attachment), but contains it's own bone structure, then have you transferred the Bone set from the base model to the part, choosing the "FIT To", inside DAZ before exporting?
