I'm not sure if this has already been posted yet or not but I was searching YouTube and found a video tutorial from Reallusion employee Jason Martin on how to get the Perception Neuron motion capture system working in iClone.

The results look pretty great.  So much so that I'm surprised Reallusion hasn't been advertising this system up more and how well it works for iClone.

Does anyone here already own a Perception Neuron system?  If so, can you confirm the tutorial works?

Hi Artman.

This video was post here few days ago:
https://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost258441.aspx
and on the Reallusion Facebook :

Today perception Neuron is a Kickstarter project :

and have big delay to deliver for the backers. Unfortunately no known iclone users receive their kits....

Why wasn't this announced with the new Mocap program? Seems I recall that we were to possibly get a special package pricing deal on this with our new Mocap for xbox Kinect one. I do not see any small packages there. I had a look at their site here; https://neuronmocap.com/products-fullwidth

Ahhhh SHIPPING IN NOVEMBER........for orders made now.
Note: MADE/sold in CHINA and shipped from CHINA    (about 1 month arrival after shipping???)

They do offer an 18 Neuron Alum Edition version 18 piece set for $999.00

WOwww, not a good deal for us at all. BUT it does say it works in Reallusion.....and very cool tools!

I guess we have to wait some more for this to be available in a smaller package deal for IC6P.

Darn. In my defense, I did try and search the forums for the YouTube link to make sure it wasn't already posted but found nothing. Oh well.  As for Facebook, I'm hardly ever on it, so I wasn't even aware of Reallusion's page. I guess I'll have to start watching for that.

I guess I was expecting a bigger announcement that the product would work with iClone once it was available for purchase (which it seems to be, judging from their site).

Well there is not much to advertise if the actual motion capture system has trouble being available. If RL were to sell anything now (i.e., the interface), people would complain to no end that they couldn't use it even though Perception Neuron's delivery problems are not really RL's problems.

So I can't blame RL from being cautious based on past experience.

this is on their facebook page
The iClone/Neuron full body mocap plug-in is just around the corner! See what features it has for you.

I doubt they would have posted a branded video and said a word if they were worried about the product being released/delivered.   We also dont know why the supply problems.  It could be anything including maybe they have a deal with reallussion to set aside X units and keep an inventory for them for their big release perhaps reallussion even kicked in money into the kickstarter :).     Anyhow I have been watching this one and its probably going to be my christmas present to myself we shall see.

I have never liked the kinect stuff even the new stuff seems not good to me so this is what I have been patiently waiting for.
