I have several props to export into iclone from other content formats...obj, fbx, etc.

Here is an example of one such content item.  I is offered as a *.duf, *.obj, *.poser file.  It is one content item, but is derived from many components.
Looking at the attachement you can readily see how it is structured with many components.
I exported from Daz3d studio into 3Dxchange, but it only exports as the consolidated content item.
I tried this with obj and fbx.  Note in the upper left corner the content is described as only one item.
The subprop thing didn't work either

I need to break this file down so I can use the individual components.

I did try sending you a PM on DAZ forum when you first asked this but you cannot see you have a PM, is the new forum, unless enabled you would not know.
Since then I learnt from your later posts this one imports into 3dx as one prop too, however you still can in Carrara obj import dialogue tick the second two bottom options and break it up by shading domains into separate meshes.
Textures may not come over depending on how it is exported, re-exported from 3dX you stand a better chance than straight from DAZ.
