Any suggestions are welcome here about story making.
I'm Udemy user because I love to learn and I like the Variety of courses there . Most of the Kurs are very great and in depth
You can choose  from free or  pay, but beware do not buy for these expensive prices !!!
If you a registered user , you get often Newsletter,  whereyou get all the courses for a very low price. $11 or $17
Maybe it give you the right motivation and inspiration.
As Example here  a  free kurs

Excellent link Vidi - thank you very much for posting

If you google:
free funny scripts

... you'll find kazillions.

e.g: http://www.icomedytv.com/comedy-scripts.aspx

Most of these sites let you perform them with/without acknowledgment of the writer, so just check the terms for each one, as you read through them. These sites also include free jokes for use by anybody.

Also note, if you are only animating the script for educational purposes (e.g. while learning how to animate, and with no intention to resell any of it), then you can also use scenes from many famous movies via the database here:

http://www.imsdb.com/

Can't wait to see what you come up with!
:)

I am looking for scripts that are free for use. I feel comfortable with set design, caricature, camera moves etc. but have not a clue about scripting or script making. Am I on a fool's journey? Any suggestions are welcome here about story making.

Hello,
You are at a "Crossroads"... so to speak, because their are many scripts available for "FREE!"
The Big Picture:...  (Your Budget).

"Are you a serious Content Developer or just interested in making COOL animated movies?" :Whistling:
...As we all need to maximize our money, decide NOW... and you will be the "SMART ONE!"

Example: "if iClone Content Devloping is your concern?"
• BUY 3DXCHNAGE PIPELINE...... and STOP!

From here you need to do a little research and development!
...pay attention to the TOP iClone (High Quality) Content Developers.
• Bigboss (Content Creation & Animation)
• Vit3D (Dynamite MESH)
• Will Veeks (Content Creation & Animation)
• Ms. Ally - THE DUTCHESS  :Wow: - Cellygon  (Textureing)
..."The Duches" drops knowledge more frequently!

...AND of course listen to our resident EXPERT (PDS) ...for inspiration.... to let your creative juice flow! :)

Conclusion:
"You need to consider how iClone's Top Devs do it.
They invest in " "High Quality Tools", TO HELP ICLONE, help you maximize your money.

• Maya or Maya LT
• 3ds Max
• Carrara
• C4D

With (3dxchange PIPELINE) and High Quality TOOLS...
psd WILL inspire you with ideas to create and sale!:Wow:
...otherwise pick a happy medium and join a CHIT load of indie devs.... struggling with the simpliesst task that high end tools make EZ!

Test yourself:
• "The Dutches" recently posted a CC question
• KIA... responded.
"Do you understand the "HIDDEN MESSAGE!"
...research and development!
GET IT!
__________________________________________________________________________________________

EDIT:
TIP: "If you get 3ds Max (Student Verision)...
I WILL personally show you how the PRO'S do it!
STEP BY STEP
• Rigging
• Texturing
• ANIMATION :w00t: ;)

REMEMBER: "You NEED 3dxchange (PIPELINE)!
...how serious are YOU!
:Whistling:

Kind Regards,
sw00000p

What, in the name of all that has been animated, do 3ds Max ,Maya and the rest have to do with Storyboarding/Script writing?

Gerry

aww,  thank you swoop,  I can go much further.  It just takes time,  and until I find that one $pecial idea..it's just a fun quick way to make some noise,  Doodle marketing! lol  my twitter community enjoys my renders, rightly so too!! :w00t: I find that if you get into the habit of working fast from the start,  your work will still improve without having to spend a brain numbing amount time in excess detail.  Much like an on the job training approach I suppose. :D

"psd WILL inspire you with ideas to create and sale!Wow" - instigator swoop

it's easy,  do what you love, and find people that share the love. Unless you are swoop,  then you do what you love and annoy the kittens out of everyone with it.

It is learnable... I was fortunate that a screenwriting class was offered in my town and that was helpful.

But the real bottleneck is coming up with a story. Another resource to look into are radio plays. Many of them are put online (search for "old-time radio") and are often assumed public domain as no-one particularly cared about the copyright. I have done a few animated shorts based on radio plays. The audio is not always that great but it's a start.
