Your first 3 pictures, I assume are CC characters... I just want to say, with no offense intended, that sometimes less is more. There's just too much going on in those faces with the skin blemishes, the wrinkles, the freckles... It's all so artificial looking. Just because the CC has a multitude of sliders, doesn't re4ally mean you have to use each and every single one of them. This is just my opinion, take it for what it's worth, but I think those characters should be toned down significantly.

I think they are fine and considering how he used them I dont think realism was his actual goal LOL looking at the last little video clip

Yes, I must admit both. Realism is not my goal at all. In matter of fact, good, solid avoidance of "real" would be much appreciate. I'am slightly ill of clean, plastic dolls that people so often use. In other hands, wizaerd is absolutely right - quite often less is more. That was my first use of CC, surely overdone. Very hard to resist with tool of such power in hands... Thank you, both of you!

Great work Tom! I think they might look even better if you change the ambient color of the skin to a more neutral gray. It is very dark by default. My opinion, of course.

Excellent idea to have a single thread - your work is so stylish it can only help to inspire others. The look of the characters is great to me, good that people can offer constructive criticism but only you know the exact look you are trying to achieve. I know the look I would want would be Pitterbillesque and these characters are not far from that. Thank you for posting
