You need to scale the bones for it to work. This a vertex-group thing. The body scaling/cloth scaling chasnges when the bone is scaled. The difference with the body is that it can also accept mesh morphs. So just scale up the feet in CC, and leave the feet hidden. Or, if you want the feet inside the shoes, make the feet smaller with the mesh replace. This will leave the bones the same size.

Bigboss (9/4/2015)

The Avatar Toolkit 2 does not recognize the characters from the Avatar Creator so I am unable to associate facial profiles to the Avatar Controller :(

Hi BB,

Just to let you know this issue is planned to be fixed in the iClone 6.3 update (4th Quarter) where we will also update the Avatar Controller.

Yay the avatar toolkit is very cool and  I am very sad its not working properly right now so glad to see that this stuff is being fixed so I will finish my final avatars.  The one I sent you to test was a draft and i didnt want to put anymore work into them (as I have several in various stages of construction) if there was no way to use the controller properly.    *goes off to finish my characters*

I would like to place a decal tattoo spread entirely across the model’s back.  When I move the Body Decal “X Offset” to line up the tattoo, it apparently disappears into the model’s spine.  What am I doing wrong?  I know I can use two identical tattoos, and try to line them up left and right of the spine, but it’s messy.

Look for a scaling or UV slider you can use to adjust or input numbers to get it looking the way you want.  Higher numbers/values will reduce the stretching,   By playing around you'll also be able to move the image up-down, left-right.  Expect some trial and error.

JC Weatherby Thanks.  How do you get the tattoo to spread across the spine?  Sorry to be so dense.

JC, you are hitting the exact things I am. I've got a solution for you, but also a technical issue with the solution. ;(

The UV of the body is not an exact mirror-image. This results in a slight mismatch for images that need to cross the spine (where the seam is).

Here is a picture where I have used 2 decals with the same image offset equal amounts on the X axis (one positive, one negative) in the hopes that it would create a contiguous tattoo. But, even though I have the numbers matching up between the two decals, they do not line up on the character. I had a look at the UV's, and they don't seem (horrible pun :pinch: ) to be mirrored as I expected.

Anyway. That's how you do it JC. :)

rampa.  Thanks.  Finally, someone else has experienced the tattoo gobbling "Spine Seam". The seam appears to be a black hole that steals your tattoos. :-)  Anyway, I knew I could use two identical tattoos, and try to match them up from left and right.  I also noticed today that in a Reallusion ad for the Character Creator, they show a tattoo completely across the model's back.  See image below.  Did they use the double tattoo, left and right method, or is there another secret way we haven't found yet?  This has really been driving me crazy, and I'm glad to get some verification on the "Black Hole Spine Seam" mystery.  ;-)     Thanks again.
