Does CTA allow use of Offset UV textures? If so, then apply an image of text, and use the offset control for material to move the text across a plane (Mesh) surface. Use multiples and stack them to start scrolling across with your needs timed out for the offset. It's really very simple to do using any image editor.

The easiest way would be to use video editing software as wizaerd says. There are free options out there so look around. Barring that you are using CTA which makes it plenty easy to add and manipulate images. Perhaps just create the text in an online photo editer (pixlr perhaps - https://pixlr.com/editor/), save it out as a jpg and then just show it in the video, move it across the screen or fade in/out using CTA abilities. You have many options and the world is your oyster!

i'm creating an animation which has a song from start to finish. i want the text of the lyrics to be included in the animation as the lyrics are being sung - sort of like a karaoke video, or like having subtitles for the hearing impaired. i know how to insert text bubbles, but there would be too many and it wouldn't look right. how do i do ticker tape text, or something similar?
