I followed the instructions to change the default pose of a character, but I am having a problem. I loaded the character, used 3D Motion key Editor to change his pose, opened collect clip and motion, highlighed a few frames, and right-clicked then exported 3d motion. If I just go to the animation tab, and choose custom, it is there, and I can apply it. But when I right click the character and choose Action Menu, it is not one of the listed motions. And I don't see a way to choose a different folder. Any help?

Thanks!

You have to add the motion clip to the Action menu. It will not automatically appear.
Right click the character, select "Action Menu" | "Action Menu Editor".
You can reorder add and delete actions for your character here.
In the Action Menu editor pane click the "+" button and browse to the clip you saved to add it to the Action Menu list.

I tried to do this. The motion clip does not show up in the list, even though I added it.

I got it. It was not clear that you have to move that motion to the top of the list in the action menu. After doing that, and then saving the character, it worked.
