Holy Moses...... I feel like I'm the only one on Planet iClone.
After reading the first few posts and seeing a collective of bitching sessions and further on the thread's become nothing more than a hyper "mildly associated" wish list with leanings towards habitual alternate software accustomisations....
I'll just remind people what the post is about.
Watch the video again. jeez.
BRILLIANT!I think this is stunning. From the perspective of an Animator, NOT a modeller....... but as an Animator, this tool is incredible and very required.
I take it it's external to iClone and then we import the edited Avatar straight into iClone? So will be a purchased add-on.
It's a step closer to that Poser realism.
We don't always want realistics BUT, even in Avatarical "Realism" they still look like avatars.
Perhaps we should transpose the word realistic for Beautiful.
The ageing process is a stunner. I love it. THAT in itself is something unique to my imagination with iClones direction. I didn't expect that.
The way the body sags and literally the muscles droop and tin out. Superb. I didn't notice if it also bent the spine accordingly in a hunch. is that coming?
The decorative measures for the face makes it easier for the newcomer, I can understand that, and the blending of colours.... I think...... was Super. I like that.
Strange that you haven't incorporated the smoothing into the Engine. Are you going to do this. Purely for the sake of cosmetics and visual finalities???
When you're working on makeup you want that smooth edge so that you can watch the shadow line.

Overall I thought this was incredibly appealing to see such a large step in Avatar Generation and I look forwards to using it a lot.
Congratulations to the programmers. It must be really exciting to see something this massive start to take a v.1.0 shape.
