2 questions

#1 can I save a custom head from a photos by itself with no body and then re-use it on any other actor?   I created a custom head by itself & when I tried to put it onto a common folk character it says it is a G2 & can not be switched with my common folk character like the baby or the police officer but it did let me switch it with SAL & Emma.  Is there a way to use the custom heads already created with common folk characters?

#2  up to this point I have had to go into custom folks characters like police officer or business man and then attach a photo with that character and save it as a custom character.   Is there a way to exchanging the head on these characters I have already created on one of the bodies with a different common folk character without having to go in & customize the eyes, mouth & take out the background?

Saving a face creation saves it in G2 format. You can not save a face creation in G1 format since CTA 2 does not allow/support saving in G1 format.

What you can do is convert the G1 character to the G2 format:
- Add the G1 character to the stage.
- Take the character to composer mode.
- Click the "Convert G1 hand to G2" button. This will convert the G1 character to G2 format (it will not add the other angles).

Now you can add your face creation (in G2 format) to the formerly G1 formatted character.

Note that the character is still a G1 character (one angle) but will be saved in G2 format.

You can create the head by itself independent of the character body.
When the face creation is completed it puts you in Composer Mode where you save the head (G2 format).

To use it on a Common Folks character you need to first convert the Common Folk character to G2 and then replace the head from the one you saved.
