Hey guys--I am starting to get a bit frustrated trying to figure out how to get the bewbs to move in Iclone for Genesis--it just looks so unnatural with certain movements--like her breast are rocks. Is there a way to make the breast appear more natural with real movement in clone using like spring or something...if so how? IS there a tut on it?

there are 2 bones named pectoral that you can map to extended bone, i think its called that. then you go to the spring section of 3dxchange and add them. put the timeline on loop and play the sample animations to tweak the mass strength and bounciness this way you get live updates on the setting changes.

I don't think the DAZ skeleton has bones to control the mesh for the breasts. That means no spring option. It doesn't really work to apply physics to the skin, at least as much as I've experimented with it. This part is all wrong, oops! It's the tushy and belly bones that are not there. Bud posted correctly at the same time. There are boob-bones.
If you open a G6 avatar in 3DX, you'll see there are quite a few more bones than the DAZ skeleton has. I think your going to be very happy with the upcoming character creation upgrade for 3DXchange 6.2.

Doh! For some reason I didn't get updates to this question -- but thank you so very much you guys. I have to say that out of all the platforms I use Reallusion folks seem to be the nicest and most helpful. Thanks you *hugs*

I asked this question before a long time ago. Someone told me that you can do it if you have the Avatar Toolkit 2 by assigning a spring behavior to the breast bones, but I haven't tried it.

Actually the junior members advice worked like a charm. Makes a difference in scene realism... :-)

Sorry for revisiting this here, but I'm trying to do this and am *very* confused. First of all -- doing this in 6.2 (and XChange 6). In iClone there is a button to edit the avatar in xChange, but when I press this and it imports the avatar I don't get any place I can see to "extend bones". Now there ARE breast bones, and they have springs applied, but adjusting those settings does absolutely nothing. (Oh, and I'm doing this with Gwen -- what I'd like to do this is with the CC characters but that's a whole different story). Can I not do this through the edit button? Do I have to (somehow) export the avatar and open the file in XChange that way?

If you cannot get the string functionality working you might be able to fake it by using Expression Morphs.
Take your character (should work with G5, G6 or CC) into 3DXChange. Export the character body mesh (that is the whole mesh for G5, the G6_Body mesh for G6 or CC_Body mesh for CC) as OBJ file. Edit the file in your favorite 3d modeling program (e.g. Blender) to get the other state (i.e. move breast area up or down a bit). Save modified file as OBJ. In 3DXChange, made sure the correct mesh is selected and then go to Face Setup and click the ADD button. Select the modified file from above. This adds the modification as a morph. Now click on the Expression Editor to map this morph to one of the Custom Slots (e.g. Custom Slot 1 Up direction). Export resulting Avatar and load it in iClone or use the "Apply To iClone" option. Now you can manually control the breast bounce by using Face Puppet with the Custom Slot.
In G5 and G6 characters the clothing is part of the mesh so the morph should include the clothing. In CC characters the clothing conforms to the skin and thus hopefully the breasts don't peek through when using this option.

This seems like a very cool AWESOME idea. I hope it works!
