I just purchased CrazyTalk 7 yesterday and created 2 quick projects just to get used to the program. This morning I started my software to begin a new project and when trying to choose my actor in the content manager, my folders now appear to be empty with no content when clicked on. Any idea why this is happening???

Thank you.

How did you save your custom projects?

If you pressed the ADD (+) button at the bottom of Content Manager then your projects should be viewable in Content Manager. However if you used "File > Save As Project" from the Menu Bar and then saved to a different folder, then the content won't show up in Content Manager. In this case, go to "File > Open Project" and load it back in that way. Do also remember to look in the correct area of Content Manager such as Custom > Project, Custom > Actor etc. depending on what you saved.

Thank you for your reply. I saved my project by using the  "File > Save As Project", but this is happening even when I click "new project". It seems as though the content in my folders such as "model", "eye", and "teeth" are now missing because when I click on these folders in both "template" and "custom" nothing is there. I have also opened my current project as you recommended and the folders are still empty?

Thanks again,

Chad

Any other ideas for me Peter? I can't get my customer support ticket opened in reference to my problem, so any other suggestions that you might have for me would be great. I did find my reallusion folder on my hard drive with all of the folders containing my "models", "teeth" and "eyes", is there a way to drop these back into the content manager that I'm not aware of possibly? I have tried dragging them over there and this isn't working. Thanks for your help!

Hi Chad,

Sorry to hear you are still experiencing problems.

I would recommend uninstalling  CrazyTalk and perform a clean install. This will normally resolve unusual issues like this.

If you still have problems, please can you contact Technical Support using the link below. We did have some issues with the support form being down for a while, but it should be working fine now. Please do include your dxdiag.txt so support can check you system for any problems.

Thanks.

Thanks so much for your prompt attention to my question Peter, I sure appreciate it. I had considered trying a clean re-install, but was unsure if my license key would work again since I had already used it just a couple days earlier. Thanks again for your assistance and I will give this a try.

Chad
