My ears have gone bad for the most part and I must use a headset. The audio in my videos gives me a problem. KenSmile

Hi Ken.

When you're finished with the movie then add the background music and narration levels. You can learn to adjust sound by site, so use your visual meters to tell the volume. This may change through the movie--like it the beginning, end, and some scenes the music is louder, and then very quiet during the narration. Once you start seeing the volume levels a lot you'll get used to it and be able to adjust accordingly by visuals rather than site.

Btw, it's normal to use headphones for adjusting sound. This is how it should be done.

Also, you need to take out the highs and lows in the narration. Keep it mid range. It'll be heard better.

You can also use EQ plugins, and others, if your software is compatible. BlueCatAudio.com has an nice suite of free ones.

Good job so far! Wink Looking forward to the final making.

The length of my videos is determined by the length of the Audio. I usually put in the audio (for the Narrator) and then determine how long the video needs to be.
I can leave the background music for the end of the process.
The voices parts are pretty much determined by what they are saying.
I finished the beginning with a Narrator and some background and am now going on to some of the scenes.
I will be making props for awhile and there is a guy coming to shut me down while he does some repairs where the computer is kept. I also have some trips to make in the middle of this so I am going to be doing life things for a few days.

Still putting things in the new computer that I had in the old ( and didn't know how to use there either.)
Added GIMP and managed to get Substance painter working. That should be all those I need.
I think I now have all the programs I need to make things.

I have enough to work on some more of the scenes.
Today I received the voices for Ruth and I already have most of the male voices finished.

This next week only has one day with interruptions that require me to go out so things should pick up a bit more.

I managed to get the scene where the three women wept together and Orpah leaves finished though it may be refined a bit more later.
I am not used to making scenes out of sequence so it will be a little bit of a surprise when I see them all together.
I will need to figure out how to keep the last frame of a Scene for the beginning of the next frame so things fit together properly in the end.

I am at a point now where I am going to change over and use iClone5 for awhile. When the women stand and talk they have their arms still and the expressions on their faces do not change.
I can work with these things a lot easier using the other program. the scenes will be the same so there is no difference there.
I am putting it together using Magix so that will work out okay.
I don't see any problems except the avatars and things I will need have not been loaded into iClone 5 on the new computer so I will have to do that first.

What I often do is setting the timeline cursor to the last frame of a scene and then apply Remove Animation to anything that moves, which freezes the motion at that point as a pose. For example, if a character has their arm upward it will be saved as a pose with their arm upward.

I then save that as a new project file, which will at the beginning be exactly the same as the previous scene at the end. I hope that's clear...Unsure

I think with that part I just kept things going until I came to the part where someone speaks and then put a break in there. I will be changing the camera there too so things won't have to match.
The thing I am looking at now is that when they talk their hands don't move. That set of motions seems to be missing in ic6 so I am going to shoot that part in ic5 and then return for more with ic6. I am following a script so I just make some of it in ic5 and the rest in ic6.
The final will be with Magix anyway and they just see MP4 scenes.
Someday I will figure out all about ic6 and be able to help others. ....Then it will be time for iClone7.......

It seems I am using an old background scene and I cannot get the wind to blow. I found the screen for that but it is not active. There must be another way.
I am going to try to find the way to do that and then I will make a small breeze to have some movement in the scene when they are talking.
I also have some problems with other parts of the scenes. Making the volume levels of the voices the same is a small problem.
I am going to see if some other scenes will work better or maybe I need to make them myself to get things working the way I want them to.
I have one finished up to the point where Ruth tells Naomi she is going to stay with her.
I want to clean that part up before I go on to the next part which will be a different set of challenges.
