All I see are for iC6 are:

Hinge
Spring
Point_to_Point
Cone_Twist
Slider
Generic
Fixed

for iC5 they were:
Hinge
Spring
Point_to_Point
Cone_Twist
Slider
Generic
Rope

A little confusing. Is rope gone or not possible, or am I just missing it somewhere? The icon visuals seemed to make more sense for iC5 as well, indicating what each of these are for in the selection box.

These are the three tutorials I found (unlisted on YouTube), along with the Help section:

iClone 6 Beta Tutorial - Basic Rigid Body

iClone 6 Beta Tutorial - Constraint Part 1

iClone 6 Beta Tutorial - Constraint Part 2

The Basic Workflow of Using Constraint (New for 6)

Rigid Constraints will take a lot of new learning.

The Rope
however is not part of the current version using PhysX. I would have thought that with the ability to read Bullet Physics projects the translation would cross, but it did not. I have a lot of things to update that used ropes.

In the interim, create a multiple sectored Plane and pin both ends, OR.... Use the sample String in the Kite Project as one for now, it was installed as a default project and prop too I believe.

The Ribbons on the Kite could be used also, just narrow them down.

Are you sure it's just not an error? In the HELP I did find this with a link to ROPE (click pic for larger view):

which links back to this iC5 with iC6 pics, but don't show the rope which makes it seem like an error in the program (click pic for larger view):

I saw that in the help too..but it was likely a edit not fixed yet.

It can be compared to a GPS that may lead you around the wrong way until it gets updated to the release. It may take a few turns around the mountain to correct all the information the help intended.

You are not Alzheimer's. I confirm rope is absent of I Clone 6. The only help I can give you is to calculate your project in I clone 5 and open it in I clone 6. That is compatible

I have a Physics Enabled Cable in my warehouse that I am selling which may be of interest in this situation. It allows the cable to be connected to multiple objects and objects can interact with it (such as push it or pull it).

http://da.reallusion.com/upload/jicd8d6e8630bc3696d7/jicd8d6e8630bc3696d7_20150419050238_header.png

You can have a look at the following videos which show pull and push interactions with the cable. Notice that the cable is anchored (connected) to two independent objects which move with respect to each other and the cable compensates. Also notice the 3rd object interacting with the cable. One video shows a push interaction while the other shows a push interactions...

You can get the Physical Enabled Cable at Lord Ashes' Warehouse
