I am trying the trail version for reallusion Effect 3d Studio that make logos.

I see that I can import a .3ds object. However all my objects are in .obj, .fbx, or iprop.

If I have 3dxchange can I convert my (.obj, .fbx, or iprop.) files into .3ds format. And if not, is there a program I can use that can convert the files??

edit: I made a mistake. I don't think this works both ways for 3DS files.

Yea it doesn't work. It only allows me to convert a file into fbx. I can already do that in 3Dxchange

Effect 3d Studio is a very old product. I had it a long time ago, I think...:unsure: If you look at the copyright on the product page it says "2007". I'm amazed it still there.

You may have found the trial but unfortunately the full version was discontinued quite some time ago. It was great in its day though along with iClone's forerunner "It's Me". :)
