Hi all,
I am trying to come up with the combination of CrazyTalk plug-in technology, to be able to animate real-time (runtime) TTS, meaning I want to dynamically generate text in the app and have the avatar speak it.
It seems like all of the plug-in options are pre-scripted, meaning avatar performances have to be pre-generated and then used in the app. I want this dynamically done at runtime.
I have a Mac XCode app I am building, and in it I am displaying a local webpage, where I hope to display the CrazyTalk avatar. I was hoping that the interactive web plug-in would support this, but then realized that the unity plug-in would need to be installed in the browser. I am not sure how to integrate this unity app into the local browser within the app.
Or should I go the Unity route: build an app in Unity, and display the avatar that way? Could I generate text dynamically and have the avatar respond in the unity app?
I am pretty sure this can be done, because the new CrazyTalk mobile app does this – the user speaks the text, and then the avatar performs it. This is very similar to what I want to do, except I will use TTS.
Any suggestions on the direction I should take? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Apparently this is not possible with the Unity plugin. It plays animations exported from CT only, Reallusion's voice analyzer is not part of it.
