Hi - I was wondering whether someone could help with prop animation. I am using ICLONE to demonstrate a martial arts move, and have got Chuck doing the move ok. I have used about 10 billboards at different points of the animation to show how the posture should be aligned, moving the billboards on and off the visible screen.

I would like to repeat the clip with everything at half speed. I can do this with Chuck by collecting the clip and stretching it - is there any way to do all the billboards at once rather than collecting each one individually and pasting it in ?

Help much appreciated - thank you.

I think you just need to space the keyframes out in the timeline so match Chucks slower movement.

I say;
1. Time out the motion as slow or as fast as needed.
2. Position all the billboards, one on top of the other.
3. "Turn ON" Billboard (1) for as long as needed, turn it off when necessary.
4. At the same frame you turn off Billboard (1), turn on Billboard (2), etc., etc., etc..
5. Repeat #4 as necessary to finish the sequence.

This gives you the ability to adjust the speed and move the key frames for visibility as needed.

Another option is to attach the sequenced billboards as described above, to Chucks Bone Root, then when everything looks right, collect his motion including the accessory visibility (Option Selected during collection).

I just tested it...this works

Here is a link to Chuck and the Motion Plus motion that contains all the code to turn on and off the visibility of the props (Billboard, Ball and Box) attached as accessories. I used 3 different items to make it show easier, but the principle is the same.
