I have a scene where a character walks in carrying a briefcase. After an exchange, another character takes it away from him.

So I set it up where character 1 has object attached to his hand.
Character two has the same, but object set to invisible in scene manager.

#2 walks up to #1 and I want to flip visibility to make it appear that #2 took it from #1.

Can someone advise how to do this (this way, or a more logical way)?

Thanks in advance!

Instead of turning visibility off in the scene manager, turn it off in the modify panel and the beginning of the time line. Then advance the time line where the 2 cases and in the same position for the switch and turn the visibility off the first one and on for the second using the modify panel visible toggle.

Hope that made sense.

Guess I'm too late to help but you should try "Linking" the briefcase to the hand. With the "Linking" function you can link & un-link the same object from one person to another.
