Hi! Just now saw this http://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/unity.aspxVery cool! But I wonder about the price, the big part is from the CrazyTalk Interactive Plug-in, which I as a Unity user wouldn't have much use of outside Unity (web, presentations etc). Wonder if you perhaps could look into a "stripped down" CrazyTalk Interactive Plug-in for the Indy developer? Buy it in an instant if the price was lower, but 400 $ is a litte too much right now. Best Regards Lukas

Perhaps I am wrong, but I think you need it to be able to use the Unity plugin? To create custom content for Unity, CrazyTalk7 PRO and CrazyTalk Interactive Plug-in are required. But perhaps I only need CrazyTalk7 Pro and the plugin for the cat etc? Best Regards Lukas

I have no CT7 but , I think these are two different plugins. For Unity you need only the Unity plugin and CT7 pro .Also I think the Standard Version do not work with the plugin. Actually the CT Unity Plugin is a Unity package. I have just test the demo in Unity .

Aha ok thanks! Tried the trial, worked fine for me too in Unity. Guess the other two programs are needed only for custom characters. Best Regards Lukas

Just to clarify. The Unity Plugin does require the Interactive Plugin if you wish to use your own custom characters. So if you wish to export interactive CT7 characters for the web then you just need the "Interactive Plugin". However if you wish to develop games and applications using Unity, then you need BOTH the "Interactive Plugin" and the "Unity Plugin". I hope this clears up any confusion.

Much like 3DXchange5 Pipeline, allowing CrazyTalk content to be exported out to other tools does carry a more premium price. However while it may seem expensive, these are very powerful tools that developers can use to build commercial games and applications.

Hi and thanks for the replies! Then my original question still valid, if some kind of indie pricing would be possible in the future? Several companies use that: http://www.chatmapper.com/pricinghttp://www.autodesk.com/products/maya-lt/overviewBest Regards Lukas
