Hi, there.

It seems that I am not able to use Mask Tools in Makeover mode, despite having the latest Pro version of FaceFilter 3:

- I followed all of the Makeover mode-based mask tutorials and was unable to get it to work.
- Mask Tools seem to work without issue when used in the Effects mode.
- At one point, I was quickly clicking back and forth between Makeover and Effects mode, the Mask Tools window glitched, and I was briefly able to apply a mask in Makeover mode. Once I left that screen, however, I was unable to get back into Mask Tools again in Makeover mode.

Any ideas? Smile

Cheers,
-John

Hi John,

It may be that the settings you are using are not very noticeable and this may make it look like this feature is not working. Please try watching the tutorial video below and in particular the Masking section at 2:00 minutes onwards. If you follow the steps shown in the video then you should see the changes made by using the Mask tool.

Thank you, Peter - once again, you have been extremely helpful! Smile

It seems that I was mistaken in my understanding of Makeover mode and its subsections (Skin Foundation, etc.). I was not selecting the sub-subsections before attempting to use the Mask Tools.

Thanks again!

Cheers,
-John

Are you using FaceFilter 3 Pro? The Mask Tools are not available in the Standard version of FF3.

The quickest solution will be to uninstall FaceFilter 3 Pro and just perform a clean install. This will normally resolve any unusual issues like this.

No you won't lose any of your saved content but it is always wise to keep a backup in case of hardware issues. Smile
