Can anybody tell me what the freeze checkbox does, it dosent seem to freeze anything?

According to the manual, checking the "freeze" box makes it so you can't select the object in the preview window. This would come in handy where you are trying to manipulate one prop or avatar that happens to overlap another. If you freeze the one you don't want to work on, you need not worry about accidental slips of your mouse.
