I can't believe I'm not completely overlooking something. Surely, I didn't just drop a hundred buck for naked characters I can't put clothes on? I bought the nine characters in the Natural Human Base. I did this because the marketing page for this add-on straight up implied I could use dual-layered Clone Cloth characters, or normal single-layered well-dressed G2 characters. Sadly I have been unable to find any way to put clothes of any sort on them. While this would have been amusing when I was but a teen age boy I'm entirely too old for that now. Someone please point me to a how to page? Thanks in advance. Micah

sorry to heat about your troubles - the natural human base pack is used for body shaping - so you would open the human base body, then apply a textured or clothed upper and lower - but i agree a little bit more clarity on how they are used is needed

Hate to sound dense but I’m opening up the body, select upper, apply a top and bottom and what I’m left with is the head I paid 100 bucks for on the free Jane’s body.

The other alternative is to edit the skin textures to create 'figure hugging' clothing which can look really good if done right. It would be nice to have some new CloneCloth for the other characters but at present these are sadly not available.

I figured out how to do stuff with the Natural Human Base and have started making tutorials explaining how to do it in hopes of helping others. Here's the first part: http://3dhumor.com/videos/ApplyingCloneSkinTutorial.html

Hi All, Having followed this thread I am now a little confused. I was under the impression that the Natural Human Base characters could be clothed using the optional Clone Cloth pack. The Natural Human Base promotional text does state "...they serve as the base 3D model design for either dual-layered Clone Cloth characters, or for normal single-layered well-dressed G2 characters". Does this combination not permit the design of any types of clothing for the complete G2 range of characters provided a suitable image editor such as photoshop is used? I was just thinking of purchasing Natural Human Base character and Clone Cloth packs and would really like to know if they are fully compatible. Thanks Ari

Hi.....About clothes for iclone ,nude and thinks like that ! The iclone 5 characters have a option to separate the legs texture from the foot texture so we was able to create second skin clothes for our characters like gins or pants panted to the skin legs of the character directly or just change the color of the legs to looks like pants etc. but now we r not able to separate the legs skin from the foot because is only one material for all .... Characters from cc3 r not able to do that ! So we r forced to add clothes to the character ,but if we animate the character in to a fight animation ( karate with a high kick ) the skin of the character pump out for each move ...

It's a bit more effort but you can certainly cover the legs part of the texture with exclusion of the feet. I would put that part in the Blend channel. That way you do not change your original skin texture. If you have something like 3DCoat you can actually paint directly on the 3D model, which makes it even easier.
