So once again on the weekend, the Reallusion website is very slow to load a page or it simply times out. Tried on Chrome and IE. Got a few friends to test in case it was my system. They all get the same result. Firefox also.

This seems to be happening more and more often and on weekends, when the staff are not around to deal with it til Sunday night.

ADDED - The minute after I made this post, everything started working again. :w00t:

Everything is fine for me but there may have been a temporary issue earlier.

Almost every time I try to come here it take a long time to load and I have a great pc with Comcast cable internet, everything else loads real fast but this site loads real slow till I am on, then after I am on everything is fine.

It must be a security check or a driver search or a cookies search, it is something I am sure.:)

For me, Reallusion's website and forum has always worked fine. What doesn't is the marketplace and content store. It's sluggish every now and then, more frequent than other websites I've visited and some times it doesn't even load. I have a fast 50Mbps download cable internet. And every other website is blazing fast, I never have a problem with it.

But this issues only happens once a week or so and only for a few hours so I can deal with it. But I think there is room for improvement.

Most of the time the forum works just fine for me. Once and while it gets so slow it times out, usually on a weekend. Maybe there's just too many people on it at the same time on the weekend. Who knows, it's beyond my skill.

I don't think I ever see more than 100 people here at once. If RL servers can't handle that many people at once then they need to upgrade their servers....I mean I've been on forums with 2000 users on all the time everyday, and it has never slowed down...

EDIT: Speaking of slowing down. The Marketplace is taking forever to load right now...

The following error occurred...

The board administrator has requested that you must provide some message content within your post. You cannot post only HTML, Images, EmotIcons or IFCode.

...............most of the time the above Error Message is displayed when Quoting a Reply, Copying & Pasting & Using BB Code Quotes. This has been going-on for years for many Users & has been Posted many times.

I'm unable to Post a long Reply this Sunday Morning.

Add to that; White & Blue Text on Black Skin can ruin your eyesight. Again - Posted many times, by many Users, over many years.

I usually get that if I start, or more likely END my post with formatted text (bold, italics, etc.).

Sometimes I don't know why I get it.

MY SOLUTION is to simply add a period on a line at the end (and maybe at the beginning) of my post.

For some reason, that usually makes it happy.

This error should not occur if you start and end in plain text. If you get the error simply adding a plain text character at the end of the message should resolve the problem.

I have not seen this reported for a while but please do let us know if you experience this a lot like Colour.
