Hi,Does anyone have a good tutorial that explains from A to Z,how to import fbx files, whit or without animation in Iclone4Pro.I do my modelling and texturing in Hexagon 2.5 and Carrara7Pro.
I found out that i can't do my rigging and skinning in Carrara 7, because the fbx export is limited to version 5.0 and 6.0,not compatible with 3dxchange4pro.So i export my model as a .obj or .dae to Blender and do the rigging whith rigify, and export as fbx6.1.
But i'm doing something wrong, because i can't get it imported in 3dxchange4 pro??

You might think about upgrading to 3DXchange5pro. At least read the features you might be surprised it is improved.

I have few or no problems with FBX imports. Here is a link to a pretty good blog that explains in very good detail about using 3DXchange.
