I have added several hundred what should be static props to a terrain. Due to me not having checked that the timeline scrubber was set to zero, I have managed to record my movement of many of the props into their places.

Everything is where I want it to be about 5 seconds into the sequence. Of course I could start my action and filming from that point, but for neatness I would like to start at zero on the time line.

I can go to the point 5 seconds in and use "Remove All Animation" on the props individually. They then remain in that place when I push the scrubber back to zero. But given the large number which need to have their movement removed, I wondered if there was a quicker way?

If I use the Reset button, then everything returns to where it was before I moved it into position. That is not what I want.

So is there a "Remove All Animation" from all props feature hidden away somewhere?

Thanks

Tony

The short, painful, answer to your question is No. :crying:

The Timeline position marker has caused many of us to loose sleep and hair over the years. :w00t: The only solution is to remove the animation from each prop one at a time - or start your render at a time when everything is where you want it.

Thanks Gerry.

I expected as much, but thought it was worth asking anyway.

Go on the timeline where you like how everything is. Then go to your scene manager (left side)... Select what you want to stop from moving by either using CTRL or SHIFT to select items. Once the highlighted items are all selected, then RIGHT Click in the scene and choose REMOVE ALL ANIMATION. Multiple props/accessory items can be stopped in a specific place or time on the timeline.

You can also remove frames from the front end of the project if you want to have everything back at zero again.

Thanks both.

Cricky's recommendation worked perfectly, so saved me a lot of time.

Cheers

Tony
