I fill so limited to just using RL items which are great and all but this deff is a let down

You are not restricted to using our items. You can add your own custom items as well.

Please see the links I gave previously for a guide on how to do this.

Hi Andrew,

You can create a head using photos just as you did in CTA1. To create custom character bodiesor clothing within CTA2 Proplease see the two guides below.

G1 Characters (Front Angle Only)

G2 Characters (Multi Angle)

You will also be able to create multi-dimensional characters using the Flash Character Template if you have the Pipeline version of CTA2. We will have a whitepaper and video tutorials available for all character creation methods soon. Stay tuned. :)

Thanks Peter. I saw this. Just wanted to make sure it would work with photographs to replace the body parts.

Yes you can use cut out parts from photos or drawings with this process. If you only need front or side view characters (as in CTA1) then this method is very quick and easy. it will of course take a little longer to replace all the parts of a multi-angle character, but overall is still easier than the old CTA1 method. :)

Is it possible to to make a full body and face 3d Character in CTA 2 from a photograph. The use morph to manipulate the character? Do I have to take separate pictures of the body parts from different angles or take pictures of the whole doll from different angles. Does the scale have to be the same. Is there a video tutorial on how to do this or instructions?

Thanks.
Andrew
