I have purchased Virtual studio 1. I drag and drop a video and get error:

The file cannot be imported because the codec is not recognized in your system.

I can play the video on the computer so the codec is installed.

Cheers

Was it an MP4 video? I've noticed the same problem. If you convert the video to WVM for example it will play.

You can get a free converter here: http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

I just noticed the same thing. So is it true that .MP4 is not a supported video format for input? Only .AVI and .WMV is all it supports? So .AVI would be the best for quality although larger file size.
Thanks,
theschemer

Added: I just looked at the product comparison and it looks like import of AVI and WMV is all. Funny we can export as MP4 but not import same. Hehe

Just transcode your mp4 file to a AVI or WMV format using program like AppGeeker video converter.

http://www.appgeeker.com/how-to/convert-avi-to-mp4-mac.html

it converts any music and films to any format..
