Inkscape is a free and easy to use vector drawing tool, which produces vector output in the open source SVG vector format. I was hoping to be able to use this to make some content for my CTA, but I can only see tutorials for adobe flash. Am I on an impossible quest, or has anyone solved this problem?

It's doubtful you could use SVG art/assets, but if you could export to SWF (dunno if Inkscape will do that or not) it might work. I know that RL sells DrawPlus for creating CTA assets as well.

Thanks Tutor, I'm thinking it may wind up getting complicated. I shall try and think of another way!

Just so you know kkffoo, to avoid any difficulties in the future, the Tutor is a forum title for those who've been members for a while, or have posted a certain number of messages.
