I've been trying to animate, through mixed moves, Chuck. Every time I select mixed moves, Iclone crashes...  Every time! :crying: Pulling my, very sparse, hair out... :crying: Help please, or is it a bug?

Is iC "Hanging" or "Crashing" to Desktop ?

Any Error Messages?

Which Mixes Moves ?

If it doesn't muck things-up, removing All Animation from just the Character you want to Apply the Mix Move(s) to & then Applying the Mix Move(s), might fix it.

Anyone-else?

Thanks for your answer. I noted the suggestion (elsewhere) to defrag, and did so, although it took no time at all... :ermm: I've just removed all animation from Chuck, then tried mixed moves... To no surprise to me, Iclone crashed, telling me that it would look for a solution. Alas Iclone is totally unusable today! :crying::crying::crying:

Hmm...

• Used to work.
• Now multiple people having same (or similar) problem.
• Problem cropped up around the same time.

Possible patch compatibility problem (Microsoft, Norton, or other)?

Sorry to hear about your problems with MixMoves.

Some things to check:-

Do ensure you have installed the iClone5 Resource pack. Crashing can occur when using MixMoves if the resource pack is missing. If in doubt, try installing it again.

Also check that the problem isn't limited to a particular project. Try starting a new project with just Chuck and nothing else. Now use MixMoves to animate Chuck. Does it still crash? Also try with Gwynn and the female MixMoves. Does this cause a crash too?

I've been away filming over the last couple of days, and the first thing I did was to open Iclone and load Chuck into a new project. I then pressed the mixed moves button, and the result was... it crashed. Iclone is unusable at present!:crying:

Just reloaded resource pack. Loaded chuck into empty set, pushed mix moves button. Crashed... :crying::angry:

Looking at your Screen grab it appears that you have several other programs running at the same time as iClone. Have you tried running iClone on it's own, or at least with not too many other items it the background?

Thanks for your reply, the actual only programme running at the same time was Outlook. However I closed it and ran Iclone again. This time I loaded Gwynn, pressed mix moves... Crashed. :crying:

The problem is; I've never had this problem before, and I've depended on mix moves... My question is, has an update caused this problem?
