You can have a dialog between many characters.
There is a limitation of the max number (I think its 3) that can be speaking at the same time though.

Using MorphVox Pro I record each of a characters lines in separate files. Then I load them into CTA where needed. Keeping the lines in separate files allows you to replace a line if you need a retake or need to change the lines. If you used one big file then that would be difficult to do.

I haven't worked with multiple characters yet, but I am assuming that there will be separate lips tracks in the timeline when multiple characters are brought into a project and there is a dialogue between them?

I still don't understand how this is done and I could find no online tutorials. If you know of one please share it

Thanks

Each character has it's own voice track. You select a character and import a wav file or create a text-to voice clip.
Because each character has it's own voice track you can have each character say whatever you want whenever you want.

Just saw your post

Thanks so very much for generously sharing your extensive knowledge of CrazyTalk Animator Pro.

I really should have waiting before I asked questions about multiple characters as I am not ready to use them yet, but while we were discussing the matter of character dialogue I thought I would ask

MY COMMENT:

Its a great idea for me to ask questions in both the forum then copy and paste them and send them to the support team at the same time. I want ALL the options I can find before I make ANY major endeavor with CTA Pro:

Thanks for your reply.

You can create dialogs between several actors in CTA.
Basically, we don't have a limitation for importing characters in CrazyTalk Animator, you may use many charactors on your project at a time, it depends on your system performance, if you have low-level PC, it will cause lag but if you have the high-prefromance PC, it should be able to load many characters and run the program smoothly.

After applying two actors you can first add a voice to one character and then to the other character and animate them.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
