I need to start the rain prop at frame 408 and stop it at frame 810. I thought that I had successfully achieved this in the timeline by moving the rain "visible" and "motion" tabs from frame "1" to frame "408", but I was not. Please help.

Most animated props have several sprites.
Did you switch to the correct sprite?
